The new puppet/animation series Science Fiction that I've been working on with
Colm Tobin and Paul Madden airs today at 4.40pm on RTE. I worked on all the puppet/live action bits which we did on green screen. We shot the puppets' heads on a separate plate and composited them with a real person's body (my body!) It was fairly experimental and we weren't sure if it was going to work and it turned out well, I think?
I also got to create my first (paid) 3D job on it, there is a northside robot character called BudE (bring the universe down to earth) I also did up the sets.
So check it out if you get a chance, it's pretty damn funny even if you're not 8 years old!
